GREG BURKE

Greg Burke an award-winning journalist, producer and photographer who has reported from locations including Afghanistan, Iraq, Ethiopia, Istanbul, India and California.

He has won quite a few prestigious awards for documentary and programme making but his girlfriend says that nobody reading this would be remotely interested. She’s probably right.

Greg and Trevor have only ever had one argument; it focused on a retired Colonel from Indian Gurkha Rifles and some wine and cheese. Please don’t bring this up if you meet them together.

Greg loves the following things in precisely this order; Spanish food, his girlfriend, his Macbook Pro, the first Batman movie featuring Jack Nicholson and BBC Radio 4’s Just a Minute.

Although many argue Greg’s face is much better suited to radio, he has done some TV work in the past, anchoring the evening news on Channel Six. Greg was pretty good at reading the news on television, but not good enough to prevent the entire channel being switched off in 2008.
